Every year, Los Angeles County's 28 shelters are forced to destroy well over 200,000 pets. These animals were either strays or brought into the shelters by their owners. We believe they all should have a second chance, and we will work tirelessly to rescue as many as possible.

We need your help to find homes for these mistreated and attention starved animals. If you can’t bring one home, we are always looking for volunteers to help care for the dogs here at our shelter. Being a non-profit organization The Amanda Foundation is in great need of the donations of generous peoples. How ever you can help, please reach out and give these pets a chance at happiness.
